Open AI connections from the Integrations menu inside WaliERP.

  1. Choose your assistant and data

    Select ChatGPT or Claude and the data sources it can use. Set a connection name and validity period to suit your work.

  2. Copy your connection link

    Create the connection, copy its personal link and add it to your assistant app to continue setup.

  3. Authorize and start asking

    Approve access through your WaliERP account, then ask about your data. Review usage and revoke the connection from the same page.

Questions about AI connections

What does connecting through MCP mean?

MCP lets your assistant use specific tools to search and read WaliERP data. Ask a question in your assistant app, and it uses authorized records to bring the information into your conversation.

What do I need to get started?

You need a WaliERP account with permission to manage AI connections and access the relevant data, plus a ChatGPT or Claude account that supports adding MCP connectors. Choose your assistant and data sources in WaliERP, then complete the connection in your app.

Can the assistant change invoices or journal entries?

The tools in this connection support searching and reading data. Creating or editing invoices and posting journal entries take place in WaliERP.

How do I choose which data the assistant can access?

Select the data sources when you create the connection. WaliERP also applies your current account and branch permissions to every request. You can review usage and revoke access from the connections page.

Do I share my WaliERP password with the assistant?

You authorize the connection through your WaliERP account. The app receives permission for your selected data without receiving your WaliERP password.

Can I connect other applications?

Advanced options provide manual connection setup for applications compatible with MCP and OAuth. This path lets you configure application settings, callback URLs and data sources.
