Using the tool and understanding your results
Choose an invoice QR image from your device or paste its Base64 text to view the basic data it contains. Read the seller, VAT number, issue time and amounts, then compare them with your document without uploading the image or text to a server.
How can I read the QR code from an invoice image?
Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image with the complete QR code clearly visible, up to 8 MB and 20 million pixels. Alternatively, paste the Base64 text carried by the code. The tool reads a saved image or text; it does not extract invoice line items through OCR.
Which invoice details can the QR reader extract?
It shows the seller name, VAT number, issue date and time, invoice total including VAT, and VAT amount. Supported extra fields are displayed as Base64 values when present. The five basic fields do not contain invoice line items or buyer details.
Does reading the QR confirm that the invoice or its signature is valid?
A successful read means the tool decoded the QR data and checked its formats. It does not verify VAT registration, digital signatures or the invoice's acceptance by ZATCA. Use ZATCA's official e-invoice verification service for that purpose.
