The amount you are entering

SAR 0–1,000,000,000; at most two decimal places, without grouping separators.

From 0 to 100, with at most two decimal places.

Calculations run only in your browser. Values are neither saved nor sent to us.

How are the results calculated?

Adding VAT: VAT = net amount × (rate ÷ 100).

Extracting VAT: net amount = inclusive total ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100).

Inclusive total = net amount + VAT.

Assumptions and limits

  • The calculator starts at 15%, Saudi Arabia’s standard VAT rate according to ZATCA. Adjust it for the calculation you want to check; the tool calculates amounts and does not classify the tax treatment of your activity.
  • Amounts are rounded to a halala. When extracting VAT, the net amount is rounded first and VAT is the difference, so both amounts add up to the entered total. Rounding across multiple invoice lines may differ.
