How are the results calculated?

Actual hourly wage = (basic wage + included allowances) ÷ 30 ÷ daily working hours.

Overtime hourly pay = actual hourly wage + 50% × (basic wage ÷ 30 ÷ daily working hours).

The unrounded overtime rate is multiplied by each category’s hours. Each category amount is rounded to a halala, then both are added.

Assumptions and limits

  • The formula reflects Article 107: the premium applies to basic pay only. All hours worked on holidays and rest days count as overtime; no higher multiplier is assumed without a more favorable agreement.
  • The estimate assumes a 30-day month and fixed monthly pay. It does not determine qualifying hours from attendance. Review the contract, work rules and permitted hours before using it. Paid compensatory leave may be agreed with employee consent under applicable rules; it is not calculated here.
